PESTA BARATAN

One of the Jepara community tradition that is closely related to the Queen Kalinyamat is "Party Westernized." The word "Westernized" is derived from an Arabic word, namely "baraah" which means salvation or "blessed" which means blessing.
Parties Westernized tradition held every 15th of Ramadhan (calendar Komariyah) or 15 Ruwah (Javanese calendar), which coincided with syakban nishfu night. First version of the story
